MyPrintScreen is a very simple tool that allows you to take shots of the selected screen region. The program is very light and runs from the System Tray.
Fortunately, you do not have to capture the whole screen, as the program lets you select the desired region. After doing this, you can perform various operations. It is possible to copy the shot to the clipboard, from where you can paste it on another program. Similarly, you are allowed to save the resulting image directly to disk, in such popular formats as JPG, BMP and PNG. Also, if you prefer so, you can upload it to a server or social websites, like Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
The list of things MyPrintScreen cannot do is much longer than that of its benefits. For example, it cannot detect the boundaries of a window or respond appropriately to the Alt+PrtSc combination. Likewise, it does not support capturing a scrolling region or gameplay. Not only that, it does not come with a built-in image editor like other similar tools. I am sorry to say that the product is not even a worthy substitute for Windows built-in Snipping Tool.
